Local footy fans have had precious little to smile about since the coronavirus put paid to this year’s season, but the Bridgetown Football Club is determined to lighten the mood and give us all a laugh anyway.

On Saturday August 8 they’ll be presenting Aussie comedian Pete Rowsthorn, of Kath and Kim and Thank God you’re here fame live at the Town Hall from 6.30pm.

Tickets are $40 and include supper and are available from Richfeeds. Proceeds help the football and netball clubs, as well as Blackwood Youth Action.

Pete Rowsthorn has been delivering his fast-paced, high energy brand of stand-up comedy for three decades and it promises to be a memorable evening.
